All products on LEMURAL are printed. Our items are produced as print reproductions.
Can designs be customized at all?
Yes, you can customize your own mural or wallpaper, click here.
However; modifications to existing designs are heavily situational. Typically, modifying design’s artwork is not a possibility. In some cases, we can do very minor design work to help a mural flow. Sometimes we are also able to modify the color of a design, but this is limited to shifting the color to be a similar shade, or taking color out. We are not able to add color where it doesn’t exist. Any color changes will require a design fee and approval of an A4 sample before production can begin.
Murals are broken down into panels that have a fixed width. To see how many panels you’ll need, measure the width of your walls and divide it by the width of the panel. Panel width and height can be found on the mural’s webpage. Please ensure the mural is the right height for your walls.
Can a mural be resized?
All of our murals are made to order, allowing us to resize them when a project demands it. The standard type of resizing that we do is scaling, where the panel grows or shrinks proportionately. This means as the mural gets taller, the panels will get wider and vice versa. Scaling is capped at +/-20% to retain the original look. For all resizing inquires, please email sales@lemural.com with your chosen mural and room measurements so that we can find the best scale for you.
How will the mural or wallpaper arrive?
Orders are printed in one roll of paper when possible. The paper will arrive untrimmed and will need to be cut into installation ready panels. Panels are produced with a bleed on the left side that will need to be removed before installation.
Is the mural or paper waterproof?
Our standard vinyl is durable and washable and is lightly water resistant. If higher levels of water resistance and protection are needed, Type II wall-coverings are the type of all printed murals.
What adhesive should I use to install this paper?
Our substrate is designed to work with all leading brands of wallpaper paste with medium to high strength. If you are an installer with a preferred brand of paste, your preference should work fine when installing this paper.
Where are the murals and wallpapers manufactured?
All our substrates are mainly made in the United Kingdom, and then printed in Egypt.
